A developer (MorDo Ranch) is requesting to rezone ~390 acres from Rural-43 (1 home per acre) to high-density zoning (up to 15 units per acre, multi-family housing).
Water: No proven long-term water supply; past shortages.
Roads: Narrow rural roads not built for heavy traffic.
Why neighbors are concerned
Septic: No sewer; risk to groundwater with higher density.
Safety: Limited emergency services and access roads.
Bottom Line

This rezoning proposal does NOT fit our rural community and puts water, safety, and infrastructure at risk.

​We respectfully ask Maricopa County to DENY the MorDo Ranch rezoning applications CPA260001 & Z260002 and maintain Rural-43 zoning.
